We show official maximum prices for the selected fuels, including agricultural and fishing rates. Stations may charge less; estimates exclude discounts.
How do we verify prices?
We confirm the price and effective date using an official source. Conflicting or unclear official information is reviewed before publishing official prices or sending confirmed-price alerts. Early RTP reports are shown separately and remain unconfirmed.
When do prices change?
The Azores usually update monthly and Madeira weekly. We check sources throughout the month. Exceptional changes can happen on any day: we always use the effective date and time in the official decision.
What does the estimate mean?
Full tank estimates the cost from empty. Usual refill uses your chosen quantity. We do not know how much fuel remains in your tank.
Which prices are compared?
We compare the same quantity before and after a change. The previous-month reference is the price in effect at the end of that month.
Will every alert arrive?
Early RTP alerts are labelled unconfirmed and can be switched off in Settings. We then send official confirmation. Alerts may arrive at any hour. Network conditions, permissions and Focus settings can affect delivery.
Can I reuse the data?
Yes. Prices and history are available through the public API and as CSV under the CC BY 4.0 licence: credit FuelAzores and the official source. Official documents remain their publishers' works.
Found a mistake?
Email us the link to the official source. We review the evidence and, where needed, publish a new price revision while keeping the previous one on record.
